We remember Kenneth Jue (1945-2022), a founder of the Quincy School Community Council, which became BCNC. Due to Ken’s activism, advocacy, and organizing with other founders, thousands of Boston Chinatown’s children, youth, and families have access to services to improve their lives. Ken, your courage and dedication inspired and impacted many and you will be greatly missed.
Read MoreThis Tuesday on May 17, 2022, BCNC and attendees came together for an in-person gala to restore and empower Asian and new immigrant families. The gala is BCNC’s biggest event and fundraiser for the year, and raised nearly $500,000. The Gala includes a ceremonial lantern lighting with all VIPs and attendees, followed by a traditional 10 course Chinese banquet.

Her contributions in operations, accounting, and human resources have been invaluable to us. In 1985, she started in the front office at BCNC, moved to accounting, then developed the entire human resources department herself. Her children and grandchildren have also been active participants in our programs. Thank you, Cynthia, for your steadfast support and inexhaustible compassion.
