In Chinese culture, hong bao (red envelopes with money inside) are given away for special celebrations. They symbolize prosperity, love, and appreciation. The Red Envelope Circle recognizes individuals who give gifts of $1,000 or more during BCNC’s fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
